Turbo

Turbo is a private family reminder service. Text reminders are sent only to household members who have personally entered and verified their own mobile number inside the app. There is no other way to be added to messaging — numbers are never imported, purchased, or added by anyone else.

The opt-in steps

1. A member signs in to their account at turbotickler.com.
2. They open Account Info and enter their own mobile number.
3. They choose Text message (or Email and text) as their reminder preference — the default is email only.
4. Turbo sends a one-time verification code to that number; the member enters it to confirm ownership. No reminder texts are sent to unverified numbers.

The checkbox is never pre-selected; saving a text preference without checking it is rejected.
